Answer:Yes

Question:Does the drain need to be close to the floor, or is a standard elevated washer drain OK?

Answer:A standard washer drain. It actually can’t be close to the floor. It needs to be higher than the water level in your washing machine .

Question:Overal, does this use more electricity than a standard washer and dryer? Factoring in the extra dry time with lower voltage

Answer:This is an energy efficient machine. I have seen no increase in my utility bill.
