Answer: I have the 8X8 which sits on a landscaping tie base. I have had it for 3 years as an enclosure for a hot tub. It has stood in 50 mph winds and 30" snow falls with no problems. The key is how well you anchor it. If you anchor it to a solid base and build it per the instructions it should hold up fine.
